On November 8th,2022 Heather and Liz were joined by Keith Crowther to discuss the mystery that is QB Commerce Accounting. Keith has spent the last 5 years building and growing inventory and order management solutions for small businesses with deep integrations to some of the largest e-commerce platforms in the market.
QB Commerce has come from a need of being able to manage online sales inside of Quickbooks and seeing that activity with the data. Liz mentioned that there used to be a ton of add-ins that you would have to plug in but now they are all tied in together. Heather mentioned that the deposits have been pointed out as one of the biggest pain points

QB Commerce is now located in the left-hand navigation across all QBO customers, instead of being an add-on, it is now included for all. Once you click “Commerce” it will prompt you to set up and you can choose which channels you want to connect. Now that you are set up it will show you all of the data for each channel such as sales, online shopping, orders, etc. all in one place!
