Dan Luthi is a huge advocate for our industry and is always trying to find solutions that we as accountants face. In addition to his educator role, he also owns his firm, Ignite Spot! Below are some highlights for Dan.
What is Dext?
Dext’s cloud-based software provides accounting solutions and online bookkeeping to help you be more productive and save time on your day-to-day tasks. Dext supports/integrates with QBO, QBD, and Sage. For Dext Commerce, it integrates with the cloud-based General Ledgar.
Workflows in Dext
There are three tools Dext Commerce, Dext Prepare and Dext Precision that you can implement into your tech stack and workflow within your organization. You take your Online portals, Paper invoices, PDF’s, and Bank statements and upload them into Dext, a single platform to help simplify the process for you!
Dext Precision- It does a deep dive analysis into your finances to be able to understand well you are performing or your client is performing. One feature is It does an analysis on the customer you’re looking at accounts receivable or their revenue and tells you the weight of their success and where you should be focusing your energy on. It creates transparency for you.
Dext Commerce has a great integration into various different platforms including PayPal which seems to be a pain point for a lot of people.
All 3 Dext products (Prepare, Commerce, & Precision) are all capable of implementing these solutions with in your firm. Dext also offers an e-commerce integration as well. There is a huge amount of functionality in this app.
