On Tuesday, April 23, 2024 Rachel Dauchy Founder/Owner of NetDeposited joined us for a Firm Spotlight and we got the insights on the apps in her tech stack!

A little bit about NetDeposited

Her journey from balancing family life to founding NetDeposited is a testament to her adventurous spirit and unwavering dedication to her craft.

NetDeposited’s Firm Insights, a team of five dedicated professionals, specializes in providing comprehensive solutions tailored to the needs of e-commerce and inventory management clients. With a client base of 30 businesses, their focus is on delivering precise, data-driven strategies to optimize operations and maximize profitability. 

As they set their sights on scaling to an enterprise-level firm, they remain committed to providing top-tier service and innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of their clients in the dynamic world of online retail.

Internal tech stack overview

We took a look at her internal tech stack and it had a diverse range of tools and resources! Rachel aligns her firm’s tech stack to apps that her clients use, making her firm scalable!

Currently, she is using Shopify for her storefront website, RightTool as a utility app, QuickBooks for her general ledger, Rewind for file backups, Slack for internal communication, LastPass for password storage, Xennett for review, Google Workspace, and Client Hub for practice management and client communication. 

External tech stack overview

Then we took a look at her external tech stack. She uses Katana for inventory management, Gusto for payroll, Dext for A/P, Synder and Bookkeep for e-commerce. 

Rachel highlighted the effectiveness of Katana, particularly for manufacturing purposes. She mentioned that Katana is excellent for tracking both assembled items and finished products. Additionally, Katana allows for the inclusion of production time and utilizes moving average inventory evaluation methods.
