Through his firm, Boomer Consulting, Inc., Jim acts as the strategic planning, technology consultant, and firm advisor to CPA firms across the country. Accounting Today called him “a thought leader who can help accountants create next-generation firms.” Jim focuses on IT strategy and implementation, including knowledge and documentation management and work collaboration.
Jim led two sessions while at QuickBooks connect, “Building and leading a successful advisory service” and a Power panel, “The tipping point” that occurs when the whole firm backs transformation.
Blake Oliver, Cloud Accounting Technology Producer and co-host of a weekly news show The Cloud Accounting Podcast
Cloud Sourced Accounting was an online bookkeeping and cloud integration firm. After building up his firm, he successfully sold the firm to explore other opportunities.
Blake is a mover and shaker and filled the role at FloQast as the Director of Marketing. He has a Bachelor at Northwestern University, majoring in Cello performance.
